Danish designer Cecilie Bahnsen brings her architectural femininity to one of ASICS' boldest new silhouettes. The Gel-Kinetic FR already carries an unconventional shape — oversized side panels stretching deep toward the forefoot, a mesh toe box, and a metallic heel panel giving the back end a structured, almost sculptural finish. Bahnsen's Black and Black Coffee treatment pulls those elements into her visual language of muted tones and metallic accents that has defined the ongoing collaboration. Beneath it all, scutoid GEL cushioning sits in a midsole that runs slim through the forefoot and thickens dramatically at the heel.
